Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting department to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.

The Bookkeeper will record daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

The Bookkeeper will process invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements, prepare and assist with payroll processing and related tax filings (if applicable) and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
The Bookkeeper will generate financial reports as requested by management and monitor and track company expenses and budget adherence and support the preparation of tax filings and audits by providing necessary documentation.
The Bookkeeper will collaborate with accounting and finance teams to improve financial processes.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic knowledge of payroll and tax regulations is a plus.
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or certification in accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
