Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all activities on assigned projects
• Supervise, mentor, and develop mechanical crews, ensuring clear communication and teamwork
• Verify that all work aligns with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Champion safety by enforcing policies, conducting toolbox talks, and embedding best practices into every task
• Track and control project costs, review monthly job cost updates, and optimize resource allocation
• Troubleshoot mechanical challenges throughout the project lifecycle, driving timely and effective solutions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, address concerns proactively, and provide regular progress updates
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation—daily reports, schedules, change orders, and more
• Support schedule planning by defining labor needs, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Oversee subcontractor management, contract administration, and field operations coordination

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of construction experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or Superintendent role
• Deep understanding of mechanical disciplines, union agreements, jurisdictional issues, and safety regulations
• Proficiency with project software and the ability to quickly master company policies, procedures, and tools
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive, field-driven decisions under pressure
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated leadership in safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
