Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Project Controls, the Corporate Project Manager provides oversight and guidance to project teams company-wide. You will develop and refine company standards, monitor schedule and cost health, and coordinate startup and closeout activities—ensuring every WW Clyde project meets our benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain corporate policies, procedures, and performance metrics for cost, schedule, and risk.
- Review monthly cost reports and schedule updates; identify variances and support corrective-action plans.
- Lead kickoff and closeout meetings to confirm proper project setup, resource allocation, and lessons learned.
- Provide data-driven insights to Area Managers and Division leadership for forecasting and strategic planning.
- Support field PMs in subcontract negotiations, change-management strategies, and claims avoidance.
- Drive adoption of project-management software (HCSS, P6, Power BI, Smartsheet) and provide user training.
- Facilitate cross-regional knowledge sharing and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with WW Clyde safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of project-management or project-controls experience on heavy-civil projects.
- Proficiency in cost and schedule software (P6, HeavyJob, Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and travel periodically to project sites.
