Job Description

Our client is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Document Prep Clerks to assist with a high-volume document scanning project. This position is responsible for preparing legal and administrative documents to be scanned, including removing staples and fasteners, sorting pages, and organizing files. This position is estimated to begin ASAP and last from 3 to 8 weeks, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully remove staples, paperclips, and bindings from documents
  • Neatly sort and align pages to ensure accurate and efficient scanning
  • Flag damaged, misaligned, or out-of-order pages for supervisor review
  • Organize documents by batch or project as directed
  • Maintain a clean and organized prep station
  • Support the scanning team with timely document preparation
  • Follow confidentiality protocols and project-specific handling procedures

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required—training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and perform repetitive tasks
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a task-focused environment
