Job Description

Join the Ultrasound Advanced Development team to shape next-generation cardiac imaging features. You’ll combine hands-on sonography expertise with R&D collaboration to validate image quality, guide test strategies, and translate clinical workflow insights into product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and document clinical image-quality and performance tests on prototype ultrasound scanners and software.
• Design clinical test strategies and scenarios that mirror real-world cardiac workflows.
• Provide expert sonographic feedback on system architecture, physics implementation, and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams throughout the product-development lifecycle.
• Consult on and occasionally conduct external clinical evaluations with partner sites or KOLs.
• Uphold patient safety and privacy standards (HIPAA) during any hands-on scanning or data handling.
• Deliver clear written reports and presentations to R&D, product managers, and executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Clinical Sonographer with ARDMS/ARDCS (or equivalent) cardiac accreditation.
• 3+ years recent clinical cardiac ultrasound experience, performing exams per national protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sonography, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline —or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Solid grasp of ultrasound physics and cardiac anatomy; able to articulate image-quality issues and system trade-offs.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and comfortable navigating engineering toolchains.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
