EXPERIENCED RESEARCH MANAGER
The Mogharebi Group is an investment advisory firm specializing in the multifamily property sector throughout the Western United States. We are seeking a full-time, experienced Research Manager.
- We're seeking a dynamic professional to help drive our business forward through expert analysis and compelling communication in the multifamily real estate sector. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping our strategy by delivering sharp, data-driven insights that empower our Advisors and guide our clients through the complexities of today’s commercial real estate investment landscape.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about research and confident in their ability to back their insights with clear, persuasive communication—both written and verbal. We're looking for someone who can not only interpret market data but also transform it into actionable, client-ready narratives that add real value.
- This position requires a strong communicator with proven leadership and people/task management skills—someone who can foster productive relationships across our research and sales teams, as well as directly with clients in meetings. Responsibilities
- Manage, teach, and grow a small team of junior research analysts ensuring deadlines are met and our database is kept current and pristine.
- Identify opportunities to improve data automation, reducing manual processes and increasing operational efficiency.
- Gather, analyze, interpret, and disseminate data on available properties, transactions, clients, clients in the market, and new developments.
- Assess the economic environment of multiple western markets and evaluate multifamily commercial real estate opportunities and trends
- Translate data and information into clear, professional reports and analyses that offer insightful interpretation for both investors and Advisors
- Develop analysis and reports to enhance client understanding of market trends and investment opportunities
- Complete special research-related tasks and projects as directed by National Sales Manager
- Assist in processing sales advisors’ research requests timely and accurately
- Leverage our database, the internet, title company sites, CoStar, Yardi Matrix, LandVision and other tools for information on multifamily commercial real estate properties, ownership and economic factors to obtain unique insights into the multifamily investment landscape.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- You must have 5+ years of research experience in commercial real estate, preferably multifamily
- Knowledge of API integrations, data mapping, and reporting tools. Experience with tools that streamline data mining, scraping, cleaning or other database management processes
- Data Quality Management: Standards for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and validity.
- Bachelor's degree, Real Estate, Economics, Finance or Business preferred
- Ability to work and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment to complete projects accurately and on time
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Adept at the use of real estate research tools, including CoStar, Yardi Matrix, Internet People Search Engines and LandVision.
