Summary

The Loss Prevention/Security Dispatcher plays a vital role in preventing theft and keeping the hotel guests, customers, and colleagues safe. This is a fast paced position with contact customer interaction that requires  organization and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work mornings, afternoons/evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising and dispatching the Bellstand function of the hotel
  • Dispatching calls and answering phones
  • Conduct foot patrols throughout the property
  • Reviewing camera footage
  • Monitoring the employee entrance, signing out guest passes to vendors, and conducting bag checks.
  • Responding to medical emergencies on the premises
  • Assist customers, guests, and colleagues with any security related issues or questions
  • Perform all duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor/Director

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work afternoons/evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.

  • Previous security experience and customer service experience preferred.
