Job Description

Key Assets Recruitment is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a client located near Huntington, WV. Excellent opportunity for someone who has just graduated from college to start their HR career, OR someone with work experience and an HR degree looking to transition into HR, OR that experienced candidate ( degree optional for experienced)! The candidate will receive training and mentoring on the day shift prior to moving to the evening shift.

This will be a full-time, direct hire role with our client company. Relocation assistance is available.

While this will ultimately be an evening shift role, there is some flexibility in the hours. They can be adjusted to fit personal needs as long as work hours fall within the evening. (Example: 7 PM to 3 AM, or 5 PM to 1 AM are options, or something in between, and shift can vary by day/week as long as advance notice is given so that team members know your availability.)

As a Human Resource Generalist , you will be at the heart of HR operations, handling a diverse range of responsibilities. Your expertise will ensure that HR processes run smoothly and that team members feel supported and valued.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including employee records and compliance.
  • Track metrics and suggest and implement improvements related to metrics.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide guidance on employee relations issues.
  • Offer coaching, counseling, and support to employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to interpret policy. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and programs that align with the organizational goals.
  • Identify training needs and administer or coordinate training and onboarding.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HR related college degree.

OR

  • HR related experience

AND

  • Ability to communicate your point of view and to facilitate positive communication even with those who may not agree with you.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to build relationships.
