Job Description

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to find a full-time HR Generalist to join their team in Dekalb County, TN (30 minutes south of Cookeville, TN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment efforts, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for multiple locations
• Support planning and implementation of health and wellness benefits
• Assist in developing the annual HR budget and guide plant HR teams in managing local budgets
• Track HR metrics, analyze trends, and recommend actions
• Help develop and coordinate an employee training program
• Travel to plants as needed to support site HR teams with issues or initiatives
• Serve as the employee point of contact for benefit-related inquiries
• Assist with new hire orientation and HR policy communication.
• Support employee engagement programs and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and other labor laws

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of recruiting practices, benefits administration, and employee training
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
