Armada Design Center is excited to announce our expansion and is looking for TWO uniquely talented Interior Design Cabinet Specialists to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to grow in your career as we grow.

About the Role

Do you have Interior Design experience and love working with people with the opportunity to make additional income from your sale of products? Do you have strong knowledge of cabinetry, and have skills in sales and relationship management? If so, READ ON!

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers as they enter the showroom. Identify what type of customer they are, assess their needs, present solutions, and maintain a relationship with them for repeat business
  • Attend industry networking events to include MBAKS, NKBA, NWSID, etc…
  • Responsible to learn and understand our product lines (cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, etc...) by meeting with vendors for product knowledge training, or reaching out to the vendors to obtain the necessary information to fully understand what we offer.
  • Maintain your daily activity in our CRM system HubSpot that we will train you on
  • Track and work all leads and accounts in HubSpot
  • Create drawings, quotes, and invoices and work the entire project from start to finish with the customer
  • Work with the Design Center Director to make recommendations and suggest changes to product lines as needs arise and new products become available, or as the market may change.
  • Attend events we host in our showroom for industry professionals to help grow the business and expand our network
  • Attend 3-4 home shows per year with the team

Qualifications

  • Interior Design Experience (2-5 Years Experience Required)
  • 2020 or Chief Architect (Required)– You will be creating kitchen and bathroom drawings to estimate how much product / what type of product is necessary for a project.
  • Understand cabinet design and layout with ability to order cabinets (Required)
  • Sales Experience (2-5 Years Experience Required)
  • Ability to assess needs, offer solutions, handle objections, and close the sale.
  • Ability to be a strong self-manager and self-starter.
  • Go-getter mentality with and outgoing personality. Eager to build relationships and grow the business.

Compensation

  • Full-Time employment with a draw based salary of $60k plus generous commission and bonus program. Most Interior Design Cabinet Specialists make $100k - $140k per year
  • Medical and dental insurance though Kaiser Permanente PPO and Delta Dental of WA (PPO premium paid at 50% by employer and 50% by employee), Dental covered 100% by company.
