Location: Hybrid in San Antonio, TX.

About the Role:

We're seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new ERP system (QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365). This is a high-visibility, multi-phase initiative with a total budget between $500K–$1M.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial systems implementation, hybrid project methodologies ("wagile"), and executive-level stakeholder management. While the Dynamics 365 ERP implementation is the primary focus, the selected candidate may also be asked to take on additional cross-functional projects as the ERP program stabilizes.

Project Scope:

This multi-phase ERP project includes:

• Phase 1 (In Progress): General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and data consolidation
• Phase 2: FP&A or Payroll (TBD)
• Phase 3: Planned for 2026
• Integration of new accounting, billing, and FP&A systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track project budget ($500K–$1M), ensuring alignment with financial goals
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution across internal and external teams
• Own and manage the project timeline, proactively addressing scope creep and delays
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
• Facilitate and lead project meetings, including Steering Committee (SteerCo) updates
• Interface with vendors, internal PM and BA, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ensure clear, professional communication with C-Level and external stakeholders
• Support project estimation, sprint planning, and resourcing
• Mirror and adapt communication style to effectively manage strong-willed or challenging stakeholders
• Maintain project documentation using Smartsheets and Excel

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical project management for large-scale system implementations
• Proven track record managing budgets of $500K+ with external vendors/3rd parties
• Experience leading ERP or financial systems implementations
• Strong command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies (Wa-Gile experience preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead SteerCo meetings with executive stakeholders
• Proficiency in detailed estimation and sprint planning
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with both internal and external audiences
• PMP Certification
• Bachelor's Degree

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations
• Experience using SmartSheets and/or ServiceNow
• Background in Healthcare, Telecom, or Call Center operations
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• PMP Certification (if not already listed above)
