The company specializes in custom; high-speed gearboxes used in automotive and aerospace testing applications. All manufacturing is performed in-house, including gears, shafts, and bearings. Company is experiencing growth and will soon relocate from its current facility in Beloit to a larger 68,000 sq. ft. location in Janesville.
Position Summary:
This is a highly specialized Mechanical Design Engineer role requiring deep expertise in gearbox and gear design. The position involves working closely with the Engineering Manager and other engineers on custom product development and in-house manufacturing support. The work is approximately 50%–75% desk-based , with regular time spent on the production floor.
