Job Description

Clayton Services, a Houston-based 40-year-old staffing and recruiting firm, is searching for a Recruiter to join our growing team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts, primarily focused on high-volume administrative and light industrial positions. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong communication skills and a sales mentality to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay Rate: Competitive base salary + commission & bonus structure

Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates.
  • Recruit for high-volume administrative and/or light industrial roles.
  • Utilize job boards such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn to source candidates.
  • Maintain and update candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet client hiring needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and candidates, ensuring excellent service throughout the hiring process.
  • Meet recruiting goals and deadlines in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients to support long-term partnerships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Recruiter Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong sales mentality with the drive to meet and exceed goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency; tech-savvy and comfortable working with multiple platforms.
  • Extremely resourceful with a proactive, high-energy, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

Recruiter Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1+ years of recruiting experience required, preferably in high-volume administrative or light industrial staffing.
  • Staffing or recruiting agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ATS and CRM systems.
  • Experience with AI tools.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through job boards and online recruiting tools.
