About the opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage the shipping, receiving, and inventory processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate handling of products, maintain organized inventory systems, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to safety guidelines.

Basic Qualifications/Skills:

Shipping & Receiving:

• Build ship kits for various products using shop travelers and contents lists.
• Pick, pack, stage, and ship sales orders in alignment with daily production schedules.
• Review the daily backlog to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

Inventory Management:

• Perform daily cycle counts and bi-annual physical inventories.
• Update inventory transactions in the Oracle ERP system, including work-in-progress (WIP) and stock transfers.
• Maintain an organized stockroom and production floor.

Quality Assurance:

• Perform incoming inspections, final inspections, and monitor quality yield rates to ensure expectations are met.
• Make recommendations for process and quality improvements.

Collaboration & Efficiency:

• Work within a team environment to execute goals for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Meet established key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve performance.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to warehouse safety guidelines at all times.

Preferred Qualification/Skills:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems or similar inventory management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
