Position Overview

The Oak Hills Homeowners Association is seeking a dedicated and responsible Summer Pool Manager to oversee all operations of our community pool facility for the upcoming summer season. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all residents and their guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily pool operations, including opening/closing procedures and maintenance checks
• Supervise and schedule lifeguard staff
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Monitor water quality through regular testing and chemical adjustments
• Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance
• Address resident concerns and provide excellent customer service
• Enforce pool rules and policies in a professional manner
• Oversee pool area cleanliness and coordinate with maintenance staff
• Manage pool equipment and supply inventory
• Assist in organizing and overseeing community pool events

Qualifications

• Current certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR/AED
• Previous experience in pool management or supervision (2+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of pool operations, maintenance, and water chemistry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Customer service experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation

• Seasonal position: Late May through early September 2025
• Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays
