GENERAL FUNCTION :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with management to support various projects across multiple states. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist with talent review process to achieve business goals and results in creation of an internal bench of top talent. This position assists with facilitation of the employee lifecycle (i.e., preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding). This position will also assist with the HR e-filing administration. This position works closely with all levels of employees to assist with Human Resources-related matters with the goal of aligning HR best practices to business strategies This position, based in the Baltimore-area office, reports to the Human Resources Manager.

COMMUNICATION WITH OTHERS:
Internal - Daily contact with Human Resources team. Regular contact with Project Management team.
External - Daily contact with applicants and candidates for employment. Regular contact with employment references.Frequent contact with clients and visitors to the facility. Frequent contact with advertising agencies. Occasional contact with employment assistance agencies.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Knowledge – Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. Health care background preferred. PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred. Requires strong knowledge of HR best practices and current federal/state regulations.
Skills/Abilities – Articulate professional with knowledge of principles and methodsof human resources management. Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion. Strong PCskills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio) are required. Previous experience with HR technology tools, such as HRIS/ADP, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and talent acquisition databases required.
Experience – Minimum of two to four years of related Talent Acquisition and/or Business Administration experience required. Strong HR background with emphasis on staffing and recruitment is required.
Physical Requirements – Light work-bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and light lifting are required.
