Warehouse Worker

📍 Location: Gorham, ME (On-site)

💲 Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

📅 Contract: 3 Months

🕖 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime based on business needs)

Job Summary

Seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Worker to support daily operations, including order picking, inventory handling, and shipping/receiving. This role involves both equipment operation and manual labor, requiring physical stamina and the ability to work independently after training.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders using a forklift, pallet jack, or dolly
• Complete pick sheets and necessary shipping paperwork accurately
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory
• Perform regular inventory tasks and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Take initiative and manage tasks with minimal supervision once trained

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior forklift experience strongly preferred; certification or willingness to obtain required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (subject to MVR check)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (hot/cold)
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
