Job Description

Position: Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Center

Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-Site)

Company: Top 25 General Contractor

A nationally ranked general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Indianapolis. This is a long-term, high-visibility role managing complex scopes, aggressive schedules, and mission-critical stakeholder relationships on a marquee build.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction from preconstruction through commissioning
  • Manage cost, schedule, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and risk
  • Lead owner, design team, and trade partner communications and meetings
  • Drive schedule adherence across MEP, structural, and architectural scopes
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, safety protocols, and client specifications
  • Lead document control processes (RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.)
  • Coordinate closely with field teams and commissioning agents on turnover milestones
  • Track project performance and reporting for both internal and client stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8–12+ years of construction management experience, with a strong focus on mission-critical or data center projects
  • Proven success managing complex, high-value projects ($100M+)
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems, fast-track schedules, and critical infrastructure delivery
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage large teams
  • Proficient in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with hyperscale clients (e.g., Meta, AWS, Google, Microsoft)
  • OSHA 30 and PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Indianapolis for the duration of the multi-year program
